Bordellet – Con Amore
This is the story of Ingrid, a beautiful young peasant girl who runs away from home to find the bright lights and entertainment of high society in Denmark. She leaves her perverted incestuous father and her lover, whom she will miss; for he’s better off with the funds you’ll see Ingrid needs. Upon arriving in Aarhus, Ingrid meets Lord Hans Kleber, who takes her under his protection – and under his blanket! This sexual extravaganza is a cross between Fanny Hill and Autobiography of a Flea. The film takes place around 1900 and features a young girl, a brothel and a hidden treasure. The typical Danish hardcore comedy production of the 1970s was not separated from the involvement of conventional people in the film industry. The team includes director of photography Morten Anfred, also known as co-director of the television miniseries Kingdom (1994); comedian Gotha Andersen, popular film and television actor and popular singer Inger-Lise Gaard. The film ushered in a decade long of Danish hardcore sex comedies.
