Beth (Nicole Doshi) and her husband Frank arrive at a resort to celebrate their birthday. They’ve been working to get over a “rough patch” in their relationship, so relaxing together at a beautiful resort sounds like just what they need. They meet another couple, Tommy (Tommy Pistol) and his wife Olivia. They say they were having car problems and came here to get help. Frank agrees to help fix the car and leaves with Olivia. Tommy and Beth stay behind, but eventually wonder why Frank and Olivia are taking so long. Tommy starts to walk Beth to her car, but from a distance they can see signs that Frank and Olivia are having sex in it! Beth, hurt and angry, storms back into the room. She confesses that the “rough patch” in their relationship was because Frank cheated on her before. Tommy seems sad and sympathetic, saying that he wishes they had a way to make Olivia and Frank feel the way THEY feel now. Susan (Reagan Foxx) receives a surprise visit from a young stranger who introduces himself as John (Joshua Lewis), and acts as if he knows her. But this doesn’t make sense to Susan, because the only John she knows is her husband, who died more than 18 years ago. However, the young man says that he IS that João and that he is reincarnated!
